ABOUT THIS PAINTING
A ladybird landed on my bowl of cherries, and for a second, I saw it all from her view. Imagine gliding through the spring air and landing on what must look like a vast, velvet-skinned dessert—glossy, fragrant, and impossibly red. Cherry season is just around the corner in Dublin, and soon these trees in bloom will gift us their sweet treasures. Honestly… I wish I were that ladybird. Wouldn’t you?
