About Né

Elena Di Stefano

I’m an Italian Artist and Ne' is my nickname! Ne' is the name I have chosen for myself when I was 2yo. When I was a little girl, I couldn't say " Élena", I could only say "Nénena", which became "Nené" and then "Né". This is the reason why I sign my paintings "Né".

I was born in Ancona and then I lived for 20 years in Bari, in the South of Italy. Now I live in Dublin, where I’ve attended some courses in drawing, oil painting, sculpture and interior design that helped me to design my own painterly style.

Currently, I have a full time job in financial services and I dedicate my evening time and weekends to my Art-Dream project.

As you know I love nature and I like painting animals and flowers. I also like cooking, reading, travelling, swimming and playing chess.
